1. Scope
This policy describes how Techno-Crafts LLC ("Techno-Crafts," "we," "us," or "our") handles information through techno-crafts.com, related pages we operate, and the private Kyla Finance Review application (collectively, the "Services"). The finance application is a consent-based personal budgeting and financial-accountability tool.
2. Information we collect
Website information
- Information you choose to send in a project inquiry or email, such as your name, contact details, project description, and message.
- Basic server logs, which may include IP address, browser or device type, requested page, date and time, and error information.
YNAB information
Only after a YNAB account owner explicitly authorizes access through YNAB OAuth, Kyla Finance Review may access and store:
- OAuth access and refresh tokens needed to maintain the authorized connection;
- YNAB plan names and identifiers and account names, types, status, and identifiers, so the user can select the intended account; and
- Transactions from the selected Apple Cash account and transaction metadata returned by YNAB, such as identifiers, dates, amounts, payees, memos, categories, flags, account or transfer references, approval and cleared state, deletion status, and subtransaction data when present.
The application creates local spending totals, purchase views, and user-selected recurring-transaction labels from that information. It currently reads YNAB data and does not create, edit, or delete data in YNAB.
We do not ask for, handle, or store a user's YNAB password or underlying bank-account login credentials. Authentication occurs on YNAB's systems, and the application receives only the OAuth authorization granted by the user.
Other connected financial services
If a user separately connects another provider such as Plaid, we may receive provider access tokens, selected account metadata, and transaction details authorized through that provider. Those credentials and records are handled under the same use, sharing, security, retention, and deletion commitments in this policy.
Information entered in the finance application
The user or an authorized reviewer may enter financial-accountability information such as bills-current status, savings amounts, obligation or lender names, current balances, notes, and recurring-transaction labels.
3. How we use information
We use information only to:
- connect the account the user authorizes and synchronize its data;
- show purchases, spending summaries, recurring transactions, bills, savings, and accountability status;
- support personal budgeting and financial coaching or accountability requested by the user;
- operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the Services; and
- respond to inquiries and comply with applicable law.
We do not use YNAB data for advertising, marketing profiles, data brokerage, unrelated analytics, or AI-model training. We do not access or use additional YNAB data for a new purpose unless this policy is updated and the user is asked to consent before the new access or use begins.
5. Storage and security
The finance application is self-hosted in the United States. OAuth tokens and imported financial records are stored in an access-controlled application database rather than in browser code or public API responses. We use measures designed to protect the information, including restricted file permissions, limited system access, OAuth authorization, secret separation, request validation, and security-conscious logging.
No system is perfectly secure. We limit collection and access to what is needed and review safeguards as the Services change. Essential browser storage may be used to remember security or consent acknowledgments; the finance application does not use third-party advertising trackers.
6. Retention, revocation, and deletion
We retain YNAB tokens and imported records only while the authorized connection and finance-review service are in use, or as otherwise needed for the purposes described in this policy. A user may revoke the application's YNAB access through YNAB and may request deletion by emailing dsldsl26@gmail.com.
After verifying the request, we will delete the user's active YNAB tokens, imported YNAB data, and associated local records within 30 days. Limited copies may remain temporarily in protected disaster-recovery backups until those backups rotate out; backup copies are not used for ordinary operations, and a deletion request will be re-applied if a backup is restored. We may retain only information required by law, security, or to document completion of the request.
7. Your choices and rights
You may ask to access, correct, export, or delete personal information we maintain, or object to or restrict particular processing where applicable. You may also withdraw authorization by revoking the OAuth connection. Contact us using the method below; we may need to verify your identity and authority over the account before fulfilling a request.
8. Children's privacy
The Services are not directed to children under 13, and the YNAB integration may not be used by or directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from a child under 13. If we learn that we have, we will delete it.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the Services or legal requirements change. The date above identifies the latest revision. If a change materially expands how YNAB data is accessed, used, stored, or shared, we will update this policy and obtain the user's consent before applying that new practice to the user's YNAB data.
10. Independent application notice
Kyla Finance Review and Techno-Crafts are not affiliated, associated, or officially connected with YNAB or any of its subsidiaries or affiliates. The official YNAB website is ynab.com. YNAB, You Need A Budget, and related names and marks are trademarks of YNAB.
